Doyle Security Systems, a leading provider of residential and commercial security, fire and medical monitoring systems, announced that Jack Doyle has been promoted to president and CEO, effective July 1. 

Doyle’s promotion marks the fifth generation of the Doyle family to lead the company. Since January 2021, he has served as president of integrated systems and support services at the Rochester, N.Y.-based company. Prior to that he served as director of business development and business development manager. 

Jack Doyle will succeed his father, John G. Doyle, whose great-grandfather John A. Doyle started the company in 1919. His grandfather and father also served as president and CEO. John Doyle, who will now service as executive chairman, held various roles with the company in his over 30 years with the company. He took over as president and CEO in 1996. 

“I am filled with great pride and excitement to have Jack lead the company. In his new role, Jack will be responsible for long-term vision, strategic planning and ensuring our continued viability and success. He will be responsible for all operations,” said John Doyle. 

He continued, “[Doyle Security] was built on a foundation of values focused on being a great place to work and providing great peace of mind for our customers. It has always been my hope and dream that the company continue its long tradition of family ownership and leadership and Jack is more than ready to carry on that legacy. I am confident he will sustain our values working alongside our family ownership group and our extremely talented management team.” 

In his six years with Doyle Security, Jack has been responsible for developing marketing strategies, promoting operational efficiencies, tracking business analytics and managing strategic corporate initiatives. Prior to his full time roll, he worked for Doyle in various capacities including alarm monitoring, system installation and sales.    

Jack built an exceptional resume before joining Doyle Security Systems nearly nine years ago, according to the announcement. After a successful start in sales, he launched and later sold a corporate housing company in Washington, DC. 

In his time at Doyle, he has taken on many challenges. He executed a major residential marketing initiative, created an inside sales team, developed enhanced analytics, managed the Catskill branch office and led the company’s integrated systems business.   

Jack was recognized by the Rochester Business Journal’s “40 under 40” Leadership program. He is also an active member of many industry associations and community boards including Crime Stoppers and St. Ann’s Community.  He graduated from St. Bonaventure University School of Business in 2006.
